Accredited Programs, Virtual Schools, Correspondence Schools, and Enrolled Homeschooling: Are They for You?
Saturday, Session 3, 1:15–2:15 p.m.

Why do some people use all-in-one distance learning programs with outside teachers, while other homeschoolers piece together a homegrown approach they implement themselves? Homeschoolers definitely don’t need accredited programs to be legal or get into college, but some families choose them and use them successfully. Join Karen to explore these resources and the reasons why these programs might be a good fit for you, as well as the potential challenges and downsides. Karen will help you define the differences in the types of “all-in-one” programs homeschoolers use and will discuss the pros and cons.
