Sessions

How to Get Rich: A Session for Teens and Tweens
Friday, Session 1, 1–2 p.m.

What is money, really, and how do you define “rich”? Explore this topic and gather ideas about areas of finance you want to explore for yourself. We’ll discuss spending, giving, saving, and investing and how this time of your life, right now, is the most precious time for investing. You’ll get concrete action steps for investing money at a zero percent tax rate so that it is still accessible for college, your first home, or retirement. Learn how to take action with your own money so you can learn and earn at the same time! This session is aimed at teens and tweens; parents are also welcome. Please remember children under 12 need to be accompanied by someone aged 13 or over.
