Tia Murchie-Beyma is a homeschool mom and instructor, human services consultant, database developer, and lover of small critters. She and her husband are deeply enjoying the last year of their family’s homeschool adventure before their younger daughter goes to college. Tia teaches mixed-level, online, and in-person courses in high school humanities, social sciences, and biology. Her community activities include Girl Scouts, for which she is in her 12th year as a troop leader. She loves Korean dramas, raising monarch butterflies, backpacking, and dreaming each winter of the glories her garden can never attain. Tia received her B.A. in anthropology and international relations from the College of William and Mary, and her M.A in development anthropology from George Washington University.
